Here’s what they DON’T teach you in school, beloved: On November 11, 1918, at precisely 11:00 AM (the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month), World War I officially ended with the signing of the Armistice. But here’s the STUNNING part: the actual armistice was SIGNED at 5:00 AM that morning in a railway car in Compiègne, France—but military commanders DELIBERATELY DELAYED the ceasefire for SIX HOURS until 11:11 AM for “symbolic purposes.”

That means soldiers DIED in those final six hours—between 5 AM and 11 AM—for SYMBOLISM! Approximately 2,738 soldiers died on November 11, 1918 ALONE—and nearly 11,000 were wounded—making it one of the bloodiest days of the entire war, even though peace had already been signed!

The last soldier killed was American Private Henry Gunther, who died at 10:59 AM—literally ONE MINUTE before the ceasefire took effect—charging a German machine gun position that was trying to wave him off because they knew the war was ending!

Now catch this prophetic revelation: Those commanders chose 11:11 because the number 11 represents TRANSITION, INCOMPLETION, and DISORDER in biblical numerology—the number BEFORE 12 (divine government and completion). They unknowingly picked a number that represents THE INCOMPLETE WORK OF PEACE—and 107 years later in 2025, we’re STILL fighting wars, STILL honoring warriors, STILL waiting for the PRINCE OF PEACE to establish TRUE armistice!

When our veterans deploy to combat evil regimes and tyrannical governments, they are operating as “agents of wrath” against wickedness on a NATIONAL SCALE! God Himself ordains righteous nations to use the “sword”—representing military force—against evil!

Romans 13:4: “For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.”

Psalm 144:1 - God Trains Warriors

Just as King David, a warrior himself, knew, God doesn’t just ALLOW warriors—He TRAINS them! Every skill, every discipline, every tactical decision our veterans make in combat is under the sovereign hand of a God who prepares His warriors for battle!

Psalm 144:1: “Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”

2 Samuel 10:12 - Fighting for God’s People

Our veterans fight bravely for THEIR people—for Americans, for allies, for the oppressed. When they fight with honor and courage, the LORD sees it and honors their sacrifice!

John 15:13 - The Ultimate Sacrifice

Jesus Himself established the highest honor for those who lay down their lives. Over 1.3 million American service members have died in combat, fulfilling this Scripture by laying down their lives for friends, strangers, and future generations!

Our veterans train, prepare, deploy, and fight with excellence, trusting that ultimate victory belongs to God!

Isaiah 2:4 - The Coming Peace

Every veteran who serves is holding back darkness until the DAY when Jesus returns and establishes PERMANENT PEACE! They’re not warmongers—they’re PEACEKEEPERS in a world that won’t have lasting peace until the Prince of Peace reigns!

Isaiah 2:4: “He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”

We’ve lived through MORE than a full generation since WWI ended, and we’re currently in the “plus 7” period—a time of DIVINE COMPLETION before the next prophetic shift!

Just like the number 11 represents transition, 2025 is a pivotal year. We are moving from one prophetic era into another, and our veterans stand as the WATCHMEN, guarding us during this significant shift!

2. They Bear the Cost We Don’t See

22 veterans PER DAY commit suicide in America. Countless more battle PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, lost limbs, and invisible wounds. They paid a price for our freedom that goes FAR beyond their service dates!

3. They Stood Against Global Evil

WWI & WWII veterans

defeated fascism and imperialism

Korean War veterans

held back communist expansion

Vietnam veterans

fought totalitarian regimes (even though politicians failed them)

Gulf War & War on Terror veterans

confronted radical Islamic terrorism

Until Jesus returns and fights the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 19:11-21), HUMAN WARRIORS must hold back the darkness. Our veterans are fulfilling the role of restrainers until the ultimate Warrior-King comes!

In Scripture, whenever numbers are DOUBLED or REPEATED, it means EMPHASIS and URGENT ATTENTION!

Certainty

“Truly, truly” in Jesus’ teaching emphasized the absolute truth of His words.

Prophetic Confirmation

The 11:11 moment represents INCOMPLETE PEACE—it’s a reminder that human efforts CANNOT establish lasting peace! Only when the number moves from 11 (disorder) to 12 (divine government) will we have the peace those WWI soldiers died hoping for!

Complete Peace (12)

When Jesus returns, it won’t be 11:11—it will be 12:00! COMPLETE! FINISHED! THE KINGDOM ESTABLISHED! This is the era of divine government and everlasting peace.

Until then, we honor the warriors who hold the line at “11:11”—in the TRANSITION period, in the INCOMPLETE era, standing guard until the COMPLETE PEACE comes!

My Prophetic Word to Veterans in 2025

Now hear me, every man and woman who has worn the uniform:

To WWII Veterans (The Greatest Generation):

You are now in your late 90s and beyond, and fewer than 120,000 of you remain from the 16 million who served. You defeated the greatest evil the modern world had seen—Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. You are living links to biblical-level warfare between good and evil, and your sacrifice purchased freedom for BILLIONS!

The Spirit of the Lord says: “Well done, good and faithful servants. Your reward awaits.”

To Korean War Veterans:

You fought in the “Forgotten War,” but God has NOT forgotten! You held the line against communist expansion, and because of you, South Korea is now one of the most Christian nations on earth, sending missionaries worldwide! You were KINGDOM WARRIORS, protecting ground that would become a Gospel fortress!

To Vietnam Veterans:

You were betrayed by politicians, spat on by protesters, and denied the honor you deserved. But GOD SAW YOUR COURAGE! You fought with excellence even when the nation turned against you. The Lord is saying in 2025: “I am restoring your honor! What man denied, heaven celebrates!”

To Gulf War Veterans (Desert Storm/Desert Shield):

You demonstrated American military might, liberated Kuwait, and showed the world that tyranny has consequences. You set the stage for 21st-century warfare! You were PRECISION WARRIORS, and your legacy continues in modern military doctrine!

To Post-9/11 Veterans (Iraq & Afghanistan):

You served in the LONGEST wars in American history—20+ years fighting an enemy without uniforms, without nations, without traditional battlefields. You hunted terrorists in mountains and deserts, cleared houses in hostile cities, and trained foreign forces!

You are THIS GENERATION’S WARRIORS, and though politicians squandered your sacrifice in Afghanistan, GOD RECORDED EVERY MISSION, EVERY FIREFIGHT, EVERY LIFE YOU SAVED!

To Currently Serving Military:

You are RIGHT NOW standing watch in 2025—on bases worldwide, on ships at sea, in the skies, in cyber operations centers. You are the PRESENT TENSE of what veterans represent! You are 11:11 WARRIORS—standing in the transition, holding the line until the King returns!

The Unknown Fact That Should Make Us Weep

Here’s the part that breaks my heart, beloved:

On November 11, 1918, after the armistice was signed at 5 AM but before the 11 AM ceasefire, soldiers on BOTH SIDES knew the war was ending—yet commanders still ordered attacks!

This led to countless tragic, unnecessary deaths in the final hours of a war everyone knew was over.

American Assaults

British Advances

British troops advanced toward Mons

French Push

French soldiers pushed toward Sedan

WHY? For “strategic positioning” in post-war negotiations! For POLITICS!

Private Henry Gunther, the last American killed, died because his unit was ordered to attack even though everyone knew the war would end in minutes!

This is the CURSE of human warfare—even when peace is signed, pride and politics still demand blood!

And THIS is why we honor veterans—because they go where POLITICIANS send them, they fight wars CIVILIANS declare, and they die for LEADERS’ decisions! They don’t get to choose the wars—they just choose to ANSWER THE CALL!

What Does the Ethiopian Bible Say About Warriors?

The Ethiopian Orthodox Church preserves ancient texts about righteous warfare. In their expanded Book of Jubilees, there’s a passage that says:

“Blessed is the warrior who fights not for conquest but for protection, not for glory but for justice, not for self but for others.”

Our veterans fit that description! They don’t fight for empire—they fight for FREEDOM! They don’t fight for personal gain—they fight for OTHERS’ safety!

The Aramaic Understanding of “Peace”

In Aramaic, the word for peace is “shlama” (ܫܠܡܐ)—which doesn’t just mean “absence of war,” it means “WHOLENESS, COMPLETENESS, RESTORATION.”

The 11:11 armistice gave “cessation of hostilities,” but it didn’t give shlama! That’s why 21 years later, WWII erupted—because there was no TRUE peace, only a pause!

True shlama comes only through the Prince of Peace—Jesus! And until He returns, veterans stand guard in the INTERIM, protecting what wholeness we CAN maintain in a broken world!

Isaac Newton, renowned scientist and theologian, delved deeply into Daniel’s prophecies, contemplating the grand geopolitical movements of nations. He posited that “God raises up and deposes kings, and the wars of nations serve divine purposes beyond human understanding.”

From Newton’s perspective, our veterans are integral to PROVIDENTIAL HISTORY—playing a vital role in a divine drama where God orchestrates even warfare to fulfill His eternal purposes!

As we draw closer to Veterans Day 2025, I sense a significant movement in the Spirit:

We are standing at another pivotal 11:11 moment—a profound TRANSITION POINT in history.

Global power structures are shifting

New alignments and influences are reshaping the world order.

Alliances are being tested

Traditional partnerships face new pressures and re-evaluations.

New threats are emerging

Unforeseen challenges are arising on the world stage.

Technology is changing warfare

Advances in technology are transforming the nature of conflict.

The Church is waking up to its prophetic role

Believers are increasingly discerning and engaging with divine timing.

And through all this, our veterans—those of the past, present, and future—serve as the indispensable STABILIZING FORCE during this critical transition!

The Bottom Line From Lady Janice

Veterans Day isn’t just about parades and discounts—it’s about HONORING BIBLICAL WARRIORS who fulfilled the “time for war” that Ecclesiastes describes!

The 11:11 armistice of 1918 was INCOMPLETE PEACE, and 107 years later, we STILL need warriors because the world STILL needs defending!

But here’s the prophetic promise: ONE DAY the number will change from 11 to 12, from INCOMPLETE to COMPLETE, from human warriors to the DIVINE WARRIOR!

Revelation 19:11 declares: “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.”

When JESUS the Warrior-King returns, the FINAL battle will be fought, the ULTIMATE victory will be won, and our veterans will finally LAY DOWN THEIR WEAPONS!

Until that day, we HONOR them, we PRAY for them, we SUPPORT them, and we REMEMBER their sacrifice!

My Veterans Day Prayer for 2025

Father God, on this 107th anniversary of the 11:11 armistice, we honor every veteran who has worn our nation’s uniform. We thank You for raising up warriors in every generation to stand against evil, defend freedom, and protect the innocent.

We pray for the 19 million living veterans in America today—heal their wounds, restore their minds, provide for their needs, and let them KNOW their sacrifice matters!

We remember the 1.3 million who died in combat—receive them into Your eternal peace, the TRUE shlama that earth could never give them.

And we ask: SEND REVIVAL to our military! Let warriors who fight earthly battles discover the ULTIMATE WARRIOR—Jesus Christ—and join His ETERNAL ARMY!

Hasten the day when 11:11 becomes 12:00, when incomplete peace becomes COMPLETE PEACE, when veterans can finally rest because the WAR TO END ALL WARS has been won by the King of Kings!
