June 19, 2026: The Day the Deal Was Signed
Let Me Tell You What Today Looks Like
To the world watching, to every leader in every capital, to every believer in every nation, to every Sanctuary Sessions saint from Kenya to Pakistan to Nigeria to the United States — I need you to understand what happened this week. Because history was made. And not all history is good.
📰 CSIS — June 15, 2026: The United States and Iran announced agreement on a framework including a 60-day ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The MOU was signed June 19 in Geneva. Iran will repeat past pledges to never acquire nuclear weapons. In exchange, Iran receives significant economic incentives including access to billions of dollars of frozen assets and sanctions relief.
📰 CNN — June 17, 2026: Iran has committed to not procuring a nuclear weapon in the past — and it has crossed that red line before. Iran's statement after the MOU signing said 'final negotiations will be postponed until after the implementation of the other party's commitments.' Iran has not made a definitive public commitment.
📰 Times of Israel — March 2026: The IRGC Revolutionary Guards attacked the ATHE NOVA tanker with two drones in the Strait of Hormuz, setting it ablaze. Iranian Guards Commander declared: 'The Strait is closed. If anyone tries to pass, the heroes of the Revolutionary Guards will set those ships ablaze.' At least 17 merchant ships were damaged. Seafarers were killed. A Thai cargo vessel was struck. Three crew members went missing.
📰 Fox News — February 5, 2026: Iran seized two foreign oil tankers and detained 15 foreign crew members — HOURS before scheduled US–Iran talks in Oman. The IRGC threatened a 'massacre' in the Strait of Hormuz on the same day diplomats were sitting down at a table together.
Let me make sure you heard that. Iran threatened a massacre and seized ships on the SAME DAY diplomats were sitting down to make peace. And today — the day this deal was signed in Geneva — is June 19th. Do you understand what June 19th means? It is the same date Sonora Smart Dodd chose for the very first Father's Day in 1910. And today, 116 years later, on Father's Day, the United States signed a framework agreement with a government that was attacking ships while signing the last agreement.
✦ Iran did not stop shooting to sit at the table. They sat at the table WHILE shooting. And somebody thought that was a partner for peace. ✦
The Pattern No One Is Naming
I want to walk you through the documented pattern of Iranian behavior at the negotiating table — because this is not new. This is their PLAYBOOK. And if you have read the Book of Nehemiah, you have already seen this playbook:
Nehemiah 6:2-4 (KJV) That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.
Four times they sent the invitation. Four times Nehemiah refused. Why? Because the invitation to negotiate WAS the mischief. They were not offering peace. They were offering a distraction designed to pull him off the wall while the wall was being built. Every time Nehemiah went to that meeting, the wall stayed unfinished. Nehemiah named what the meeting actually was: a trap. And he kept building.
Iran seized tankers on the morning of peace talks. Iran attacked ships after signing ceasefire statements. Iran enriched uranium to near-weapons grade while pledging never to acquire nuclear weapons. Iran funded Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis — all of whom attacked Israel — while maintaining diplomatic channels with the West. The Nehemiah principle: when your enemy keeps calling you to the plain of Ono while attacking your wall — you do not go to Ono. You keep building.
PART TWO — THE ADDRESS
What I Would Say — If They Would Listen
— TO PRESIDENT TRUMP AND THE NEGOTIATORS OF THIS DEAL —
Mr. President. Honorable leaders. Heads of state who are watching this moment unfold. I am not speaking as a politician, a general, or a diplomat. I am speaking as a servant of the Living God — the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — who wrote what is happening right now in a Book long before any of us drew our first breath.
I honor the office. I respect the weight of the responsibility you carry. And because I respect it, I am telling you the truth that your diplomatic teams and your intelligence briefings are not authorized to say:
✦ You cannot make a covenant with people who have made a covenant with destruction. The Bible did not say that as an insult. It said it as a warning. ✦
Isaiah 28:15 (KJV) Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come to us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
Isaiah 28:18 (KJV) And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
Isaiah spoke this word to Israel's leadership in the 8th century BCE when they were making agreements with Egypt to avoid Assyria. He is warning them: the agreement you made with the power that lies to you will not protect you. The scourge will not honor your paperwork. The covenant will be disannulled — not by you, but by the reality of what you made the covenant with.
Mr. President — I know you want to win. I know you want to open the Strait of Hormuz. I know you want oil markets to stabilize and your economic legacy to be strong. I am not questioning your desire. I am questioning your partner.
The Council on Foreign Relations documented it: 'Iran has committed to not procuring a nuclear weapon in the past — and it has crossed that red line before.' That is not an opinion from a prophet. That is the Council on Foreign Relations saying: they promised this before. And they lied before. And we are doing this again.
✦ You do not get to call someone a liar and then act surprised when they lie to you again. And you do not get to build national security on the promises of people who break promises the way most people break a nail. ✦
I am talking about the IRGC — the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — that declared the Strait of Hormuz closed and set ships on fire in March 2026. I am talking about the same IRGC that seized tankers and detained sailors on the morning of peace talks in February 2026. I am talking about the organization that attacked the ATHE NOVA with two drones and let it burn.
These are not fringe actors that the Iranian government cannot control. The IRGC IS the Iranian government's military arm. When they attack a ship, Tehran ordered it or permitted it. When Tehran permits attacks during negotiations, the negotiations are theater. And the world is the audience.
Mr. President — you called Iran out correctly in your first term. You applied maximum pressure. Iran came to the table because they felt pain. That is the only language this particular government has ever responded to. Not because Iranians are bad people — the Persian people are one of the most ancient, brilliant, and culturally rich civilizations on earth, and God has a specific and glorious plan for them that I will address in a moment. But the REGIME that governs them is not representative of the Persian people. And making a deal with the regime is not making peace with Persia.
✦ There is a difference between the Persian people and the Iranian regime. God loves Persian people. God has prophesied the SALVATION of Persia. The regime is not Persia. The regime is what has IMPRISONED Persia. ✦
AND ISRAEL. WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT ISRAEL.
PART THREE — ISRAEL
God's Covenant With a Nation the World Keeps Trying to Negotiate Away
What God Said About Israel That Cannot Be Undone
Before we talk about what Iran wants to do to Israel, let us establish what God has already said about Israel. Because the current diplomatic situation is being managed by people who do not know what God has committed Himself to — and that is the most dangerous kind of ignorance.
Genesis 12:3 (KJV) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
This is the Abrahamic Covenant. It has never been revoked, suspended, or renegotiated. It is still in force on June 19, 2026. God said to Abraham: whoever blesses you, I will bless. Whoever curses you, I will curse. This is not a suggestion. This is a divine legal clause embedded in the foundational covenant of Western civilization. Every nation that has turned against Israel in history has paid a price in history. That is not theology. That is archaeology.
Zechariah 2:8 (KJV) For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
Apple of His eye. In Hebrew: אִישׁוֹן עֵינוֹ (ishon eyno). The pupil. The most sensitive, least protected, most reflexively defended part of the human body. The moment something moves toward your pupil, your eyelid closes without conscious thought. God is saying: Israel is the part of me that I protect by reflex. You do not debate whether to protect the pupil. You just do it. Instantly. Completely.
Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
No weapon formed against Israel shall prosper. Not a drone. Not a ballistic missile. Not a nuclear warhead. Not a UN resolution. Not a diplomatic agreement that carves off pieces of her land. NOT ONE WEAPON. Formed against her shall PROSPER. Iran has been forming weapons against Israel for forty years. The weapons have not prospered. And they will not. Not because Israel has the best military — though they do. But because God's word is more reliable than any missile defense system on the planet.
Amos 9:14-15 (KJV) And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
And I will PLANT them upon their land and they shall NO MORE BE PULLED UP. This is a divine property title signed in eternity. The land is not a negotiating chip. The land belongs to Israel by a title deed that predates every UN resolution, every Geneva convention, every Oslo Accord, every diplomatic framework signed in any hotel room in any city in the world. God gave the land. God planted the nation. And God said: no more pulled up. That means any agreement that requires Israel to surrender land is an agreement that requires the signatories to renegotiate with God. Good luck with that.
✦ You can sign whatever you want in Geneva. God signed His document before Geneva existed. And His signature does not expire. ✦
Israel's Right to Defend Herself Is Not a Political Position — It Is a Biblical Principle
Nehemiah 4:14 (KJV) And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
Fight. For your families. For your houses. Nehemiah did not tell the people to lay down their weapons and trust that the enemy would be reasonable. He told them: remember God AND pick up your sword. The trowel in one hand — build the wall. The sword in the other — defend it. This is not a pacifist's position. This is the position of a people who believe in a God who defends and fights alongside those who defend their covenant land.
Psalm 122:6 (KJV) Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem. Not the dismantling of Jerusalem. Not the division of Jerusalem. Not the negotiated sacrifice of Jerusalem to obtain a ceasefire with the people who just attacked ships in the Strait of Hormuz. PEACE. True peace. The kind that doesn't require Israel to surrender her soul to secure it.
Joel 3:2 (KJV) I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the heathen, and parted my land.
God will PLEAD with the nations for Israel. And the charge He brings is this: they scattered My people. They PARTED MY LAND. Any international agreement that parts the land of Israel — divides it, negotiates it away, establishes a framework that diminishes Israeli sovereignty over her covenant territory — is placing the signatories on the wrong side of Joel 3:2. That is not a place you want to be when the pleading begins.
PART FOUR — GOD'S PLAN FOR PERSIA
The Most Stunning Hidden Truth in This Entire Story
Persia in Scripture — Before, During, and After
Now I need every diplomatic advisor, every geopolitical analyst, every theological student, every saint sitting in your living room from Lagos to Lahore to lean in — because what I am about to tell you is the most important thing in this entire address. And almost nobody is saying it.
GOD LOVES PERSIA. God has a PLAN for Persia. And the plan is not destruction — the plan is TRANSFORMATION. The same God who pronounced judgment on Iran's current behavior has also prophesied the salvation of the Persian people in the last days. And those two things are not contradictory. They are sequential.
PERSIA IN HISTORY — God Already Used Them Once
2 Chronicles 36:22-23 (KJV) Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.
Cyrus of Persia — the King of the nation that is today's Iran — is the man God used to release the Jewish people from Babylonian captivity and send them home to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple. A PERSIAN KING. And God named him by name through Isaiah 150 YEARS before he was born:
Isaiah 44:28 (KJV) That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
Isaiah 45:1 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut.
GOD CALLED CYRUS HIS ANOINTED. The Hebrew word is מָשִׁיחַ — Mashiach. Messiah. The ONLY time in all of Scripture that God calls a Gentile king His Mashiach is Cyrus of Persia. A Persian. The same land that is today's Iran. God looked at that nation and said: I will raise up from you a man who will set my people free. And He did.
🔍 HIDDEN GEM: Isaiah 45:1 is one of the most astonishing prophetic texts in all of Scripture because it names a foreign king by personal name 150 years before his birth. Cyrus was born approximately 600 BCE. Isaiah wrote this approximately 740 BCE. When the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered — the Great Isaiah Scroll, dated to approximately 125 BCE — it confirmed that the text of Isaiah 44-45 with Cyrus's name had not been added later. It was original. This is the fingerprint of an omniscient God who moves through PERSIAN HISTORY as casually as He moves through Israelite history.
Ezra 1:1-3 (KJV) Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
A Persian king signed the executive order for the rebuilding of Jerusalem. Persia is WOVEN into the restoration story of Israel. They are not enemies by divine design. They are enemies by regime design. The IRGC is not the destiny of the Persian people. The IRGC is the hijacking of the Persian people.
PERSIA IN PROPHECY — What Is Coming
Ezekiel 38:5 (KJV) Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
Ezekiel 38 — the Gog and Magog prophecy — lists Persia (modern Iran) as one of the nations that will come against Israel in the last days. This is the chapter that Iran's current behavior is setting up. The IRGC funding of Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis — the proxy war against Israel — the nuclear program — is the PRECURSOR behavior to Ezekiel 38. This is not a news story. This is a prophetic timeline.
Ezekiel 38:8 (KJV) After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many nations, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
Ezekiel 38:18-19 (KJV) And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel.
God's FURY comes up in His face. This is God's jealousy for Israel igniting. The same God who stirred the spirit of Cyrus to free Israel will unleash His fury against those who come against Israel in the last days. Iran is prophetically scheduled to participate in that confrontation. And God is prophetically scheduled to respond — not with diplomacy, but with fire and brimstone (Ezekiel 38:22).
Ezekiel 38:22-23 (KJV) And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
AND THEY SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD. That is the purpose of the Ezekiel 38 confrontation: the nations will know that the God of Israel is real, sovereign, and active. No ceasefire agreement signed in Geneva changes the trajectory of Ezekiel 38. But here is the stunning prophetic turn — because God never ends with judgment when there is grace available:
Daniel 8:20-21 (KJV) The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
Daniel's vision of the ram — Media and Persia — was given to him while he was IN Persia, serving in the Persian government. Daniel served Darius the Mede and Cyrus the Persian. He prayed in that Persian city. He was thrown in the lion's den in that Persian city. God showed Daniel the prophetic map of Persia's place in history. And then something remarkable happens:
Daniel 10:13 (KJV) But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
The angel Gabriel tells Daniel that there is a PRINCE OF PERSIA — a spiritual principality over the nation of Persia — that resisted the angel's message for 21 days. What this tells us is that Persia has been a contested spiritual territory throughout history. The heavenly warfare over Persia is ancient. The IRGC regime is not the natural state of the Persian people — it is the fruit of a principality that has dominated that nation. And Michael the archangel had to intervene to break through.
[ Book of Enoch 20:5 (Ethiopian Canon — 1 Enoch) ] Raphael is listed as one of the holy angels who presides over the spirits of men. The angelic assignment over nations in 1 Enoch tradition means every nation — including Persia — has both a divine assignment and a demonic principality contending for its soul. The prince of Persia in Daniel 10 is the demonic principality. Michael coming to help is the divine counter-assignment. The battle over Iran's soul is not new. It is ancient. And it is still being fought.
THE SALVATION OF PERSIA — The Hidden Gem Nobody Preaches
Here is the word that almost nobody in the prophetic community is saying. Because everybody is so focused on Ezekiel 38 — the judgment — that they skip right past what comes AFTER the judgment. Read this carefully:
Isaiah 19:23-25 (KJV) In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
EGYPT MY PEOPLE. ASSYRIA THE WORK OF MY HANDS. These are the ancient enemies of Israel. Egypt enslaved them. Assyria deported them. And God calls them MY PEOPLE and THE WORK OF MY HANDS in the millennial restoration. If God can say that about Egypt and Assyria — which are today's Muslim-majority nations — what do you think He has planned for Persia?
🔍 HIDDEN GEM: Isaiah 19 is almost never preached in the Western church because it is inconvenient. It requires us to hold two truths simultaneously: God judges nations AND God restores nations. The judgment of Ezekiel 38 against Persia is real. The restoration of Persia in the last days is also real. Judgment precedes restoration. The fire that falls on Gog and Magog is not the end of Persia's story — it is the burning away of the regime so the Persian people can emerge into their God-given destiny. This is not wishful thinking. This is Isaiah 19 applied eschatologically.
Isaiah 11:11 (KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Elam — in ancient geography — is the region of southwestern Iran. Susa, the capital of the Persian Empire and where Daniel served, was in Elam. God says He will recover the remnant FROM ELAM. Not just from Elam — He will recover Jews scattered there AND the Elamites themselves are implicated in the restoration. The geography of restoration includes Persian soil.
Jeremiah 49:38-39 (KJV) And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD. But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.
I WILL SET MY THRONE IN ELAM. Not just judge Elam — THRONE in Elam. God's sovereign reign will be established in the territory of Iran. The princes — the spiritual and political principalities — will be destroyed. AND THEN: I will bring again the CAPTIVITY of Elam. The Elam/Persian people will be RESTORED in the latter days. The IRGC is not Persia's forever. The throne of God in Elam is Persia's forever.
✦ God is not done with Persia. He is done with the REGIME. And when the regime falls — as all regimes fall — the Persian people will rise into their ancient prophetic destiny as one of the great peoples of God's last-days restoration. Hold them in prayer, not in contempt. ✦
PART FIVE — WHAT MUST BE SAID
The Word I Need Someone With Power to Hear
To Every Leader Who Has Ears
Mr. President. Secretary of State. Every negotiator in every room. Every ally nation watching from Europe and the Gulf and Asia — I am speaking to all of you.
Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
The deal seems right. The Strait is open. The markets are stabilizing. The cameras captured a signing ceremony. The language of the 14-point memorandum is cautious and conditional. You protected yourself legally. But a nation that attacks ships while negotiating and then signs paper agreeing not to attack ships has not changed its character. It has changed its schedule.
Jeremiah 6:14 (KJV) They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
Peace, peace — when there is no peace. The prophet Jeremiah spoke this word to leaders who were making agreements with Babylon to avoid the consequences of their covenant violations. They called it peace. He called it a slight healing of a deep wound. A bandage on a severed artery. The wound is not healed because the paper is signed. The wound is healed when the behavior changes. Iran's behavior has not changed. The ceasefire has changed the timeline. Not the trajectory.
Micah 3:5 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
Those who bite with their teeth and cry peace. Those who receive the offering and promise peace — and prepare war against those who do not give them what they want. Does this not describe the documented behavior of the IRGC? They bite — attack ships, fund proxies, enrich uranium — and they cry peace at the negotiating table. And when the economic pressure eases, when the sanctions lift, when the frozen assets are released — the preparation for war resumes.
✦ The frozen assets that will be released to Iran under this deal — those dollars will not build schools in Tehran. They will build missiles aimed at Tel Aviv. History is not complicated. It just requires someone willing to read it. ✦
What I Would Recommend
I am not naive. I know ceasefire has value. I know open shipping lanes matter to the global economy. I know diplomatic engagement is necessary. I am not calling for perpetual war. I am calling for clear eyes.
Here is what a Biblical framework for engagement with a dishonest actor looks like:
Matthew 10:16 (KJV) Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Wise as serpents. Not naive as lambs. Jesus was not a pacifist — He was strategic. Engage but verify. Sign but watch. Open the Strait but do not lift the financial pressure that is the only thing producing behavioral compliance. Keep the military posture in place. Do not reduce the naval presence because a paper was signed in Geneva. The paper is only as good as the pressure behind it.

A prudent nation foresees the evil and prepares for it while engaging diplomatically. The simple nation believes the signing ceremony and dismantles the military posture. Then they are punished. This is not rocket science. This is Proverbs. And Proverbs was written by the wisest man in human history — who happened to also negotiate international agreements. Solomon knew that wisdom and open eyes are not enemies of peace. They are its prerequisites.
And to Israel — stand. You have every right under international law, under self-defense doctrine, and under the covenant of God Almighty to defend your people, your land, and your future. Do not let anyone — any president, any security council, any ceasefire agreement — tell you that your survival is negotiable. It is not.
Isaiah 41:10 (KJV) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:11-12 (KJV) Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
They that war against thee shall be as NOTHING. Not as a minor inconvenience. Not as a managed threat. As NOTHING. As a thing of nought. This is the divine guarantee to the nation that carries the covenant. Not because Israel is morally perfect — she is not, and Scripture says so. But because God's covenant does not depend on Israel's performance. It depends on God's faithfulness. And God is the most faithful entity in the universe.

Where This Is All Going — And What the Saints Must Do
This Is Eschatological, Not Just Political
I need the saints to hear something clearly: what you are watching on your news feed in June 2026 is not primarily a geopolitical story. It is a prophetic story. The chapters are already written. The ending is already determined. What we are watching is the SETUP — the positioning of nations, the movement of alliances, the escalation of tensions — that the prophets described in extraordinary detail thousands of years ago.
Luke 21:28 (KJV) And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN TO COME TO PASS. Not when they are fully complete. WHEN THEY BEGIN. The moment you see nations aligning as Scripture describes — look up. Your redemption is not behind you. It is coming toward you. The chaos on your news feed is the birth pang of the greatest event in human history: the return of Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:22-23 (KJV) For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
The whole creation is groaning. The news is the groan. The geopolitical chaos is the birth pang. The world is in labor — and what is being born is the Kingdom of God in its fullness. Do not despair at the contractions. They mean delivery is coming.
Daniel 2:44 (KJV) And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
In the days of THESE KINGS. Not after they finish their business. WHILE they are doing their deals, their ceasefire agreements, their Geneva signings — the God of heaven is setting up a Kingdom. A Kingdom that will break in pieces every human arrangement. A Kingdom that will stand forever when every deal made by human hands has been forgotten by history.
✦ Let them sign their documents. God is signing His Kingdom into place. And there is no veto power over the throne of God. ✦
What The Saints Must Do Right Now
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
The saints' primary assignment in this hour is not political analysis. It is intercession. It is humility. It is repentance. It is turning. The healing of the nations flows through the prayers of the Church — not through diplomatic summits. The diplomatic summits are the symptoms. The saints' prayers are the medicine.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem — Psalm 122:6. Pray for the Persian people — Daniel was willing to be thrown in the lion's den in Persia while serving in that government and still praying toward Jerusalem. Pray for the leaders — 1 Timothy 2:1-2 says pray for ALL in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness. Even the ones making deals we disagree with. Pray for wisdom from above to fall on every decision-maker. Pray for the exposing of deception. Pray for the protection of Israel. Pray for the salvation of Persia. And pray for the coming of the King.

🤔 WHAT IS HOLDING TRUMP BACK? — THE THREE PRESSURES
1. The Economic Hammer
The Iranian regime mined the Strait of Hormuz and held the global economy hostage. With 20% of the world's oil passing through that strait, every day it was closed cost billions. Trump's first metric is always the market. When stock prices rose and oil prices fell because of the MOU, he said — and these are his words — that anyone who thought he was not tough enough was 'jealous, bad people, or stupid.'
Beloved, that tells you everything about the pressure he is under. He is not reading it wrong — he IS reading it. He just weighs it differently than we do. The economic argument for stopping is enormous, and most of America agrees.
2. The Double-Tongue Spirit
Here is where the demonic comes in. The IRGC posted on social media — publicly, boldly — the following statement:

They said it themselves. They are signing with one hand and sharpening with the other. This is not politics. This is the spirit of the antichrist operating through men.
3. The Republicans Who Crossed

Beloved — the angel Gabriel was telling Daniel that he had been fighting a demonic prince for 21 days. Not a human king. Not a political leader. A demonic principality assigned to the nation of Persia.
💎 HIDDEN GEM — HEBREW INSIGHT — 'Prince of Persia' The Hebrew word is 'sar' (שַׂר) — a commander, a chief, a ruling prince. In Daniel's celestial vision, these 'sarim' are demonic beings of high rank assigned to govern nations spiritually. The same word is used for Michael — 'one of the chief sarim' — the warrior archangel of Israel. This is not metaphor. Daniel received this vision while fasting on the banks of the Tigris River. Gabriel's body appeared as 'beryl,' his face 'like lightning,' his eyes 'like torches of fire' (Daniel 10:6). Saints — the prince of Persia is NOT DEAD. He was not destroyed when Persia became Iran. And Michael — the archangel of Israel, the warrior prince — is still in the fight. The celestial war has not paused for the negotiations.

God called a Persian king by personal name — 'Cyrus' — over a century before he existed. God called him 'my shepherd' and 'my anointed' — the Hebrew word is 'mashiach' (messiah). God 'stirred up the spirit' of Cyrus. A pagan king of Persia was moved by the God of Israel to do His bidding. This is the pattern: even when the prince of Persia is resisting in the heavenlies, God can break through to individual Persian hearts. He did it with Cyrus. He is doing it underground right now.
Elam in Prophecy — The Judgment AND The Restoration
📖 Isaiah 21:2 (KJV) A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease. |
Elam is the ancient name for the heartland of what is now Iran — the region around Susa and the Persian Gulf coastline. God called them 'the treacherous dealer' who 'spoileth.' This is the IRGC playbook written in the 8th century BC. They have been doing this for three thousand years.
📖 Jeremiah 49:34-39 (KJV) The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. Persia in Ezekiel 38 — The Final Alliance

Persia — Iran — is named in the Gog-Magog alliance. This is the coalition that comes against Israel in the latter days. But notice that God says to Gog: 'I will put hooks into thy jaws.' God is the one pulling the strings. Even the enemy's final coalition is being orchestrated by a sovereign God who uses it to reveal Himself to the nations.
The current Iran conflict is not the Gog-Magog war — but it is a dress rehearsal. The nations are finding their positions. The alliances described in Ezekiel 38 are forming in real time.
🗡️ SMOOTH WORDS AND DRAWN SWORDS — THE SPIRIT OF DECEPTION
Let us now go to the specific demonic operation at work in these negotiations, because the Word names it precisely.
📖 Psalm 55:20-21 (KJV) He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. |
Beloved, you do not need a political science degree to understand what Iran is doing. You need Psalm 55. 'Smoother than butter... softer than oil... yet drawn swords.' That is the ancient description of a spirit that uses the peace table as a weapon.

Untempered mortar. It looks like a wall. It appears solid. But it has no structural integrity. It will not hold under pressure. The 60-day MOU is untempered mortar, beloved — a facade of stability plastered over an unchanged foundation.

Saints, I want to address the Republicans who joined Democrats to pass the war powers resolution. Before we get angry, we need to get discerning. Because not everything that looks like betrayal is demonic. Some of it is just flesh.
📖 Isaiah 31:1 (KJV) Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! |
Egypt in this context is the economic and political solution that replaces seeking God. When men are tired, when the bill comes in at $80 billion, when the war has been going for four months — the temptation to call it finished is enormous. That is not necessarily demonic. That is the flesh choosing comfort over completion.
But the Word is clear: woe to those who trust in the count of the chariots and do not inquire of the Lord. The question these senators should be asking is not 'how much does this cost?' The question is 'what did God authorize, and is it finished?'
Some of those crossover votes are political theater. Some are genuine conscience. And some — in those who operate under consistent patterns of undermining — may carry something darker. But we do not judge individuals. We judge spirits. And we pray for both.

The underground church in Iran is the fastest growing church on earth. Young Iranians are burning their hijabs in the streets. Women are risking their lives for freedom. The Iranian people are not the enemy — they are the harvest field.
