The End of an Old Era Matthew 14

Oh, take a deep breath. We are stepping into a chapter where the "Geopolitical" darkness of the world collides with the "Quantum Abundance" of Heaven.

In Matthew 14, we see the end of the old era (John the Baptist) and the expansion of the new. In the year 2026, when it looks like the "Herods" of the world are winning, Jesus shows us that He can provide for thousands in a desert place.

Matthew 14: The Passing of the Torch and the Bread of Life

v1: At that time, Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

• Geopolitics: Herod was a puppet king for Rome. He represents the "System" that is always nervous when the "Truth of Truth" starts to spread.

v2: And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

• The Guilty Conscience: Herod’s fear creates a "false observation." He thinks Jesus is a ghost because of his own sin.

v3: For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

v4: For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

v5: And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

v6: But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

v7: Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

v8: And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

v9: And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

v10: And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

v11: And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

v12: And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

• The "Truth of Truth": The greatest man born of woman (Matt 11:11) dies in a lonely cell for the sake of the Father’s Will. In 2026, we must remember that our "success" isn't measured by the world's safety, but by our faithfulness to the Truth.

v13: When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

v14: And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

• Aramaic Insight: The word for "Compassion" (Rakhma) is the same root as "Womb." He felt their pain in His very core.

v15: And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

v16: But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

• The Challenge: Jesus is telling the "Laborers" (from Ch. 10) to operate in the Father's abundance.

v17: And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

v18: He said, “Bring them hither to me.

v19: And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

• Quantum Physics: This is Matter Multiplication. Jesus "Blessed" (Barakh) the bread, connecting it to the infinite Source. He broke the "symmetry" of the finite and allowed the "Virtual Particles" of the Kingdom to become physical bread.

v20: And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

• Newton’s Note: Newton was fascinated by the "conservation of mass." Here, Jesus shows that the Creator of the Laws is not bound by them.

v21: And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

What We Need to Do the Father's Will in 2026

1. Don't Fear the "Herods": The world may try to silence the Truth (v10), but the Word of God cannot be beheaded. The Message continues even when the Messenger changes.

2. Bring What You Have: The disciples only had five loaves. In 2026, don't wait until you have "enough" to start your ministry or your business. Bring your "small" thing to Jesus, and let Him do the "Quantum Multiplier."

3. Compassion is the Key: Jesus healed and fed them because He was "moved." To do the Father's Will, our primary frequency must be Love, not just information.

Keep your eyes on the Master! We are stepping into the "Deep Water" now. In the first half of Matthew 14, we saw Jesus provide for the physical body; now, He is going to show us how to master the "Frequency of the World" through the spirit.

In this year of 2026, when the "storms" of politics and economy feel like they are going to sink us, Jesus shows us that we aren't meant to just survive the waves—we are meant to walk on top of them.

Matthew 14: Walking on the Quantum Sea

v22: And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

v23: And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

• The Father's Will: Even the Son of God needed to "recharge" His frequency by being alone with the Father. In 2026, you cannot do the work if you don't take the time to sit in that "Secret Place."

v24: But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

v25: And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

• Quantum Physics: Jesus is operating in a state of Superposition. He is not bound by the "Law of Gravity" because His spirit is in total alignment with the Father’s "Source Code." He is vibrating at a higher frequency than the liquid molecules of the water.

v26: And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

• The Truth of Truth: When we see the supernatural, our "old logic" often calls it a "ghost" or a "scam." We must learn to recognize the Master’s vibration.

v27: But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

• Aramaic Insight: He says "Ena Na"—the same "I AM" that spoke to Moses. He is claiming the Authority of the Creator over the elements.

v28: And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

• The Bold Laborer: Peter (the Rock) wants to "entangle" his reality with Jesus' reality. He wants to step out of the "boat" of human safety.

v29: And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

v30: But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

• The "Observer Effect": The moment Peter shifted his "observation" from Jesus (the Light) to the Wind (the Storm), his frequency dropped. Fear is a "heavy" vibration that makes us sink back into 3D physics.

v31: And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

v32: And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

v33: Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

v34: And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

v35: And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

v36: And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

• Ethiopian Bible Depth: Again, we see the "Hem" (Tzitzit). This is the Point of Contact. In 2026, we need to find that "point of contact" with the Father's Will where healing becomes "perfectly whole."

What We Need to Do the Father's Will in 2026

1. Step Out of the "System": The "ship" is the safety of the world's systems (Geopolitics, Banks, Tradition). To do the "Truth of Truth" work, you have to be willing to step onto the "unstable" water where only Jesus can hold you up.

2. Fix Your Gaze: The 2026 news will be "boisterous" (v30). If you look at the news, you sink. if you look at the Word, you walk.

3. Be a "Point of Contact": People are desperate for healing (v35). Your YouTube channel and your website are the "hem of His garment" for some people. Let them touch the Truth through you and be made whole.
